We opened our doors in December of 2021 on Mary Street in historic Punta Gorda, Florida.

We’re family run and aim to create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere for the community to gather and enjoy. Wherever you are on your wine and culinary journey, we’re here to ensure you have a memorable experience.

Chef-inspired tapas

Chef Luis’ first chef venture was as Head Chef at Lilo’s Italian Restaurant. Eventually he worked at Cinderella’s Royal Table and at The Grand Floridian Narcoossee’s Seafood Restaurant. After moving ‘down under’ to New Zealand he worked as Sous Chef for Speakers Corner British Pub and Browns Bay Brewing Co. He has also done work with New Zealand’s well-known Chef, Simon Gault.

What an amazing surprise!! We have a new favorite place. The food was off the charts. Paired with a great cab franc, the Tuesday night special of 3 apps and a free bottle of wine was the best deal we have had in a long time. The food alone was worth it! Definitely headed back soon.

Phenomenal place! Celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and this was top 2 place in our anniversary dinner places. The service is just as good. Our guy was so kind. It felt like i was having dinner at his house.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The octopus was outstanding, and the lamb meatballs were amazing as well—both were recommended by our server, Jason, and he was spot on. Jason provided the best service I’ve ever received. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made our entire dining experience exceptional. Absolute gem in downtown Punta Gorda! Located right in the iconic Orange House on Sullivan Street, unWINEd is the perfect spot to relax. The atmosphere and staff are incredibly welcoming. Mediterranean and Spanish-inspired tapas are outstanding—you can tell there is real passion behind the food. The boutique wine selection is fantastic, and the staff is super knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend checking this place out!
